Tracey is a professional Counsellor and Psychotherapist who works from a relational and experiential

perspective to support self-awareness as a tool for change.

She holds a Master of Gestalt Therapy and is a registered member

of PACFA and GANZ (Gestalt Australia & New Zealand).

She has worked extensively in the not for profit sector and more recently in private practice,

empowering and supporting people to find solutions to a diverse range of issues.

Tracey has a compassionate and authentic approach and respects a person’s innate wisdom.

She understands the complexity and depth of what can get in the way of living a

connected and fulfilling life in relationship to self, and others.

Tracey works holistically to support people in identifying creative adjustments and unfinished business,

which supports new insights and a deeper understanding of “how they do life”.

She believes that, paradoxically, change occurs when a person fully becomes who they are,

not when they try to be someone they are not.

Therefore, Tracey is committed to working in the “Here and Now “and

believes that when genuinely met, and properly supported, people are able to work through

difficult situations, integrate “aha moments” and affect sustainable change in their lives.

Tracey understands that counselling is an opportunity for people to be supported in

exploring their issues and uses a wide range of therapeutic approaches to meet their differing needs.

These include; Gestalt, Cognitive, Somatic (body awareness), Mindfulness,

Art & Sand Tray therapy, Attachment Theory and Trauma informed theory.

She works with issues such as  Depression, Anxiety, Relationship issues,

Childhood Sexual Assault & Sexual Assault, Trauma, PTSD,

Alcohol & Drug Addiction and Recovery, Grief and Stress.

She draws on both her training, work and life experience to provide a holistic,

compassionate and supportive experience for people.
